About the Author
Tarsicius Edem Dorpenyo is a Ghanaian author writing thoughtful, practical literature about the quiet work of being faithful with what is already in our care. His debut book grew out of ordinary days, close observation and a conviction that reflection should be steady rather than urgent.
The Origin
The idea of Keeping the 99 came from watching how easily people turn toward what is missing. Everyday moments in Accra, in homes and at work, showed how much care was already present and how rarely it was named. Uncle Yaw's wisdom gave shape to that observation, turning it into a simple call to attend to what we already hold.
The future trilogy extends this inquiry, moving from the foundations of cherishing people, developing gifts and protecting peace into the lived practice of The Fold. Each volume is written slowly, so that the reflection can be carried back into daily life.
The Writing Credo
Write slowly, stay close to everyday life, and trust that faithful attention is enough to change how we see what we have.— Tarsicius Edem Dorpenyo
